Who's in There?

Welcome. This blog is about old people - who we are inside. Our bodies are beginning to wear out, though we have new knees, new hips, new eyes and new ears.  But -- we have old eyes to see what we could not see before, old ears to hear what is not said. We have quiet, we have wisdom, we have knowledge and an opportunity for peace. We have the freedom of invisibility, sometimes not a bad thing.

We make fun of ourselves -- "senior moment," for example, where we all laugh, ha, ha. And we joke about our clumsiness with cellphones and new technology, though many of us are quite swift in the new world. But "Who's In There?" It's us, real people with real and deep feelings.

  2. I had to delete the one above,,,, too many misspellings, little senior moments. So, again, you've got our pulse, so much truth wrapped in humorous illustration. I think you missed your calling, Daisy. I could see this as a strip in the Sunday Comics and would read it religously. Go, girl, as fast as an old girl can go.... xo, Jan

Here's some unasked for advice: Keep up with your good intentions and keep on making us laugh! (without stuffing us with brownies laced with...you know.

  6. Dear Daisy this is excellent news having your blog up and running, embodying your fine sense of humor about our unavoidable predicaments and pleasures. The combination of tenderness and stoicism in your drawing is quite beautiful and Phoebe's coloring is perfect.
