The variety of self portraits that populate your stories are quitew wonderful. In this strip bewiderment is expressed beautifully in the 'tap tap' frame. The screeching foreshortened raven is a perfect expression of extreme frustration and the sound is almost audible. Fabulous! I do not know Poe's 'Raven' well at all, not having read it since high school (a longlonglong time ago). Is the solution to this embedded in that poem perhaps. I do apologize as I don't quite grasp the meaning of the sequence.
