About Me

Daisy Broudy: I am the writer and illustrator of these stories about us, old people. My sister Phoebe McMillan, an artist, is the colorist who arrived later in the process to help me out. You will see the brilliant use of color on her pages. My husband Eric and our son Oliver are the tech experts who delivered this blog into the stratosphere. A family enterprise, to be sure. I am a retired social worker who began drawing after I stopped going to work. My work describes the interiors of us old people. That is, there's a lot inside us old folk who might seem invisible to others. We are funny, we are light, we are dark, we are old dead wood and new spring leaves, all at the same time.
